Description
Aaron Novik’s newest project combines jazz, klezmer, Indian and Balkan music, pop, rock, metal and an experimental touch to create a highly listenable blend equal parts innovation and derivation.

Building on Aaron‘s past projects—including Gubbish, Kipple, Floating World, Crafty Apples, Simulacra, Love Triangle Elementary School and the Samuel Suite—Thorny Brocky is at home playing soundtracks to imaginary animations or navigating cautionary tales warning against eating cookies from strangers on the bus.

Aaron Novik: bass clarinet, compositions
Dina Maccabee: violin
Jamie Moore: drums
Lisa Mezzacappa: bass
Marie Abe: accordion
Kasey Knudsen: alto saxophone
With special guest Melody Ferris: vocals
